    Pairs well with

Large-scale irrigation supply and complex agricultural water distribution demand pumps that provide uncompromising fluid extraction. The Lowara 16GS30-3, a three-phase submersible bore pump, handles continuous operation from 4-inch boreholes where reliable high-volume delivery is essential. Its floating impeller system maintains performance in water containing suspended solids.

A 3.0 kW three-phase motor on 415 V draws 7.1 Amps during normal operation. Maximum flow reaches 367 L/Min, while maximum head extends to 60.6 metres at shut-off. The motor requires a minimum fluid velocity of 8 cm/s around the casing for adequate cooling, and supports up to 30 starts per hour. This performance suits applications requiring massive volume and moderate lift.

Inside the hydraulic section, floating impellers allow suspended particles up to 150 g/m3 to pass without compromising internal clearances. The hexagonal pump shaft delivers torque reliably across all stages, while the front wear ring works with the floating impeller to improve abrasion resistance. An integrated stainless steel check valve prevents destructive backflow when the motor stops.

Precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower support brackets maintain alignment between the pump and motor. The 99 mm diameter casing fits standard 4-inch boreholes, with a 50 mm threaded outlet. Rated for continuous immersion in liquids up to 35°C, the complete unit comes with a heatshrink kit for secure electrical connections.
