Product Overview
The stainless steel casing and technopolymer diffusers form the foundation of this submersible borehole pump, which is designed for continuous groundwater extraction from 4-inch drilled wells, cisterns, and reservoirs. This unit handles primary water supply duties where consistent flow and reliable operation are required. The floating impeller configuration and integrated non-return valve help manage water column backflow when the motor stops.
Driven by a 0.37 kW single-phase motor at 240V, the unit draws 3.2 Amps under normal operation. Maximum flow reaches 22.5 L/Min, while maximum head extends to 69 metres. The hydraulic design delivers stable pressure across the operating range for borehole installations.
Floating impeller construction combined with the front wear ring system improves resistance to abrasive particles. The internal clearances help pass suspended solids effectively, supporting operation in groundwater containing sand or silt. The hexagonal pump shaft provides effective impeller drive throughout operation.
Supplied complete with the starting control box and heatshrink kit for electrical connections. Designed for continuous submersion in liquids up to 35°C, the pump integrates stainless steel fasteners and bearings that use the pumped fluid for cooling and lubrication.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Floating hydraulic stack construction allows the 1GS03M to process water containing sand up to 150 g/m3 without binding.
