Product Overview
Operating within deep drilled wells for demanding pressure boosting, the Lowara 1GS11-12L is a 2-wire submersible bore pump with an integrated capacitor. This 4-inch unit eliminates the need for surface control panels while delivering reliable performance. The floating impeller configuration supports performance in water containing suspended solids.
A 1.1 kW single-phase motor on 240 V draws 7.6 Amps during normal operation. Maximum flow reaches 22.5 L/Min, while maximum head extends to 204 metres at shut-off. The motor requires a minimum fluid velocity of 8 cm/s around the casing for adequate cooling, and supports up to 30 starts per hour.
Inside the hydraulic section, floating impellers allow suspended particles up to 150 g/m³ to pass without compromising internal clearances. The hexagonal pump shaft delivers torque reliably across all stages, while the front wear ring works with the floating impeller to improve abrasion resistance. An integrated stainless steel check valve prevents destructive backflow when the motor stops.
Precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower support brackets maintain alignment between the pump and motor. The 99 mm diameter casing fits standard 4-inch boreholes, with a 32 mm threaded outlet. Rated for continuous immersion in liquids up to 35°C, the complete unit comes with a heatshrink kit for secure electrical connections.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
