Product Overview
For installations where larger pressure storage delivers tangible benefits, the Lowara 3HM04P-PT18 combines the proven 3HM04P hydraulic platform with an 18-litre APT pressure vessel. The increased vessel capacity makes this variant particularly well-suited to multi-outlet residential systems and commercial applications where reduced pump cycling is a priority.
The AISI 304 stainless steel pump body and Noryl™ impellers deliver a maximum head of approximately 40.3 metres and a maximum flow rate of 70 litres per minute. The motor is rated at 0.5 kW, operating on 220-240 V single-phase, with a current draw of 3.34 Amps. Connections are Rp 25 mm threaded. The pump handles clean liquids at temperatures up to 60°C.
The 18-litre pressure vessel provides additional water storage, helping to reduce pump starts during low-demand periods. The mechanical seal is ceramic, carbon, and EPDM. The motor is rated IP55 with Class F insulation. Thermal overload protection with automatic reset is included. The horizontal close-coupled design allows installation in equipment rooms with limited floor area.
Installation is straightforward with the pre-wired terminal junction box. The pump is certified for drinking water use under WRAS and ACS. The unit is intended for clean water applications and requires a frost-protected, well-ventilated installation location. The larger pressure vessel makes this variant suitable for systems with higher demand variability.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
