Product Overview
When both elevated pressure delivery and larger pressure storage are required, the Lowara 3HM05P-PT18 delivers on both fronts. Combining the 52.5-metre pump platform with an 18-litre APT pressure vessel, this packaged system is ideal for residential and light commercial installations with multiple outlets, elevated distribution points, or where reduced pump cycling is desirable.
The AISI 304 stainless steel pump body and Noryl™ impellers deliver a maximum head of approximately 52.5 metres and a maximum flow rate of 70 litres per minute. The 0.75 kW motor operates on 220-240 V single-phase, drawing 4.56 Amps. Connections are Rp 25 mm threaded. The pump handles clean liquids at temperatures up to 60°C.
The 18-litre pressure vessel provides additional storage capacity, helping to reduce pump starts during periods of low demand. The mechanical seal is ceramic, carbon, and EPDM. The motor is rated IP55 with Class F insulation. Thermal protection is provided by an automatic reset overload device. The close-coupled configuration is suitable for floor mounting.
The unit is supplied with a pre-wired terminal junction box. The pump is certified for drinking water use under WRAS and ACS. Installation requires a level, frost-protected surface with adequate ventilation. The system is intended for clean water applications and should be installed with adequate clearance for maintenance access.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Why does the Lowara 3HM05P-PT18 come fitted with an 18-litre pressure tank?
