For boreholes requiring higher hydraulic lift together with corrosion-resistant stainless-steel construction, the 4ZN612/15 provides a fifteen-stage radial flow pump end. Its configuration is suited to deep groundwater pumping while retaining the ZN6 maximum flow rating of 275 L/Min.
AISI 316 stainless steel forms the ZN6 pump-end construction, while the impellers and diffusers are AISI 316L stainless steel and incorporate removable wear rings. The rotating shaft uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, with a replaceable Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304 coupling. The pump end permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ and, when coupled with a C4S motor, supports water temperatures up to 60°C.
The 4ZN612/15 reaches a maximum head of 170 metres, with hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The standard Rp 2 1/2” (65 mm) threaded delivery port provides the water outlet, while a standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling with a C4S submersible motor. Maximum immersion depth is 300 metres with C4S motors.
For borehole installation, the microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are provided in the discharge head to assist in lowering and securing the assembly at installation depth.
