Product Overview
Designed for deep-well groundwater supply, agricultural irrigation and town water networks, the 4ZN612/4 is a four-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its staged hydraulic arrangement provides the lift required for extracting clean groundwater from deeper borehole systems while maintaining a maximum flow capability of 275 L/Min.
The ZN6 pump end is built in AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel used for the impellers and diffusers. Removable wear rings allow the hydraulic clearances to be serviced, while the rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. This construction is specified for clean water containing suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
With a C4S submersible motor, the assembly is suitable for operation up to 60°C and can reach a maximum head of 45 metres. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with water discharged through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) connection. The pump end uses a standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection and permits maximum immersion of 300 metres when used with a C4S motor.
Installation is supported by a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support, with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve helping manage backflow within the discharge assembly. Safety-hook holes are incorporated into the discharge head for lowering and securing the pump end during borehole installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

How deep can the Lowara 4ZN612/4 push water from underground?
With a maximum head of 45 m, it easily lifts water from deep bore shafts and pushes it across long pipe runs without losing pressure.
Can the Lowara 4ZN612 4 handle dirty or gritty bore water?
The pump is designed for the documented sand/particle conditions; do not exceed the manufacturer's stated limits. The impellers are built from heavy-duty materials designed to resist abrasion and sediment wear.
Can I run the Lowara 4ZN612-4 off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its Continuous-Duty Electric Motor requirement. It's built for continuous duty on 415V three-phase or standard rural power setups.
Is the Lowara 4ZN612_4 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
