Product Overview
For deep groundwater supply and borehole installations requiring greater hydraulic lift, the 4ZN612/6 provides a six-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its six-stage configuration increases the available head while retaining the 275 L/Min maximum flow rating of the range.
The pump end follows the ZN6 AISI 316 stainless steel construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. The shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, while the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The specified construction permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ and, when matched with a C4S motor, supports operation up to 60°C.
Maximum head is 68 metres, with hydraulic performance specified according to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is delivered through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, while the standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection allows the pump end to be coupled with a C4S submersible motor. Maximum immersion depth is 300 metres when used with the C4S motor.
The discharge assembly combines a microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support with an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Holes provided for safety-hook attachment assist with lowering and securing the pump end during deep borehole installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Can I run the Lowara 4ZN612-6 off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its Continuous-Duty Electric Motor requirement. It's built for continuous duty on 415V three-phase or standard rural power setups.
Is the Lowara 4ZN612_6 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
What pipe size connects to the Lowara 4ZN612/6 discharge port?
It fits a standard 65 mm outlet connection. Using the right pipe diameter ensures you get the full 275 L/Min discharge flow.
Can I install the Lowara 4ZN612 6 horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
