Product Overview
For agricultural irrigation, groundwater supply and commercial water distribution, the 4ZN612/8 provides an eight-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible installations. Its additional hydraulic stages provide increased lift while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.
Its ZN6 construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel throughout the pump end, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft supports the rotating assembly, while the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The pump end is specified for suspended sand concentrations up to 100 g/m³.
With a C4S motor, the combined installation is suitable for water temperatures up to 60°C and achieves a maximum head of 90 metres. Performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with delivery through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection. A standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling with the C4S submersible motor, with maximum immersion depth of 300 metres.
The microcast discharge head incorporates an integrated stainless steel non-return valve and dedicated holes for safety-hook attachment. Together with the lower support, the ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge construction provides the specified arrangement for lowering and securing the pump end in deep borehole installations.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

What pipe size connects to the Lowara 4ZN612/8 discharge port?
It fits a standard 65 mm outlet connection. Using the right pipe diameter ensures you get the full 275 L/Min discharge flow.
Can I install the Lowara 4ZN612 8 horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara 4ZN612-8 run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 275 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara 4ZN612_8?
This is a wet-end assembly and does not include a motor.
