For borehole systems requiring a little more hydraulic lift without moving into the higher-stage configurations, the 4ZN616/4 provides a four-stage radial flow pump end with a maximum flow of 367 L/Min. Its 48-metre maximum head makes it suitable for groundwater supply applications requiring dependable vertical lift.
Constructed in AISI 316 stainless steel, the ZN6 pump end uses AISI 316L stainless steel for its impellers and diffusers, with removable wear rings incorporated into the hydraulic stages. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The pump end is specified for water containing suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
With a C4S submersible motor, operation is supported up to 60°C. Performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with discharge through the Rp 2 1/2” (65 mm) threaded outlet. A standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection is provided, and maximum immersion depth is 300 metres when matched with a C4S motor.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support provide the structural discharge arrangement. An integrated stainless steel non-return valve assists with backflow control, while safety-hook holes support borehole installation.
