Where groundwater lowering requires additional lift within a six-inch borehole system, the 4ZN616/5 provides a five-stage radial flow pump end rated for a maximum flow of 367 L/Min. Its maximum head of 61 metres provides a higher-lift configuration while retaining the flow capability of the ZN6 range.
The pump end uses AISI 316 stainless steel construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft is used for the rotating assembly, while the motor connection uses a replaceable Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304 coupling. The construction permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
A C4S motor allows operation with water temperatures up to 60°C. The hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B, with water discharged through the Rp 2 1/2” (65 mm) threaded connection. The standard 4-inch NEMA motor connection accommodates the C4S motor, with maximum immersion of 300 metres.
The discharge head and lower support are manufactured in microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) material. The integrated stainless steel non-return valve provides backflow control, while safety-hook holes assist in lowering and securing the pump end.
