The Lowara 4ZN616/6-3 submersible pump delivers 73.6 metres of shut-off head, featuring a 6-inch AISI 316 stainless steel wet end with 4-inch motor connection. Its microcast stainless steel construction provides mechanical integrity for continuous submersion.
The engineering choices here are about long-term reliability. AISI 316 stainless steel resists corrosion from aggressive water chemistry, extending service intervals and reducing maintenance costs. The stainless steel impeller incorporates a removable wear ring, while the suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 grams per cubic metre. The replaceable coupling allows for maintenance without borehole extraction.
Powered by a 5.5 kW three-phase motor at 415V, the pump draws 13.2 Amps and achieves 367 L/Min maximum flow. Shut-off head reaches 73.6 metres, with the 65 mm discharge outlet accommodating standard pipework. Performance complies with EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B tolerances.
Class F insulation with IP68 rating supports immersion up to 300 metres. The Duplex stainless steel shaft, AISI 316L tie rods, and NEMA-compatible coupling ensure long-term reliability. The unit meets ErP ecodesign standards.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
