Product Overview
Municipal potable water extraction requires pumps that combine corrosion resistance with sustained flow characteristics. The Lowara 4ZN631/3-3 offers 667 L/Min from its 6-inch wet end and 4-inch motor configuration. The microcast stainless steel housing provides long-term structural integrity for continuous submersion in borehole installations.
Non-return valve integration prevents water column backflow during power interruptions. The impeller design incorporates a removable wear ring, enabling component replacement without full pump disassembly. AISI 316 stainless steel construction across the wet end resists aggressive groundwater chemistry. Sand ingress is limited to 100 grams per cubic metre by the suction strainer.
Power comes from a 415V three-phase supply drawing 10.2 Amps. Shut-off head reaches 43.2 metres with 667 L/Min flow through the Rp 3 outlet. Hydraulic performance conforms to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B tolerances.
Installation depth reaches 300 metres with Class F insulation and IP68 protection. The Duplex shaft and AISI 316L tie rods provide mechanical strength. NEMA compatibility and safety hook holes simplify borehole deployment.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
