Product Overview

The Lowara 4ZN646/2-3 meets these demands with its 6-inch wet end and 4-inch motor configuration, processing up to 1000 L/Min while maintaining reliable operation in continuous-duty applications. The multi-stage hydraulic assembly delivers stable performance across varying demand conditions.
Corrosion resistance is achieved through AISI 316 stainless steel construction across every wetted component, protecting against aggressive groundwater chemistry. The impeller and diffuser arrangement incorporates a removable wear ring for straightforward servicing, while the integrated non-return valve prevents water column backflow when the motor stops. The suction strainer limits suspended sand ingress to 100 grams per cubic metre, extending internal component life.
Powered by a 3 kW three-phase motor at 415V, this pump draws 7.64 Amps under normal operation. Maximum head reaches 20.2 metres at shut-off, with flow capacity of 1000 L/Min through the 80 mm discharge port. Performance testing complies with EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B tolerances, ensuring predictable operation across the duty range.
Class F insulation and IP68 enclosure rating support installation depths up to 300 metres. The Duplex stainless steel shaft and AISI 316L tie rods provide mechanical strength for continuous submerged service. NEMA motor coupling compatibility simplifies assembly, and the discharge head incorporates safety hook holes for secure lowering during installation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
