Product Overview
Borehole installations for agricultural irrigation and industrial pressure boosting demand pumps that combine high flow capacity with corrosion resistance. The Lowara 4ZN646/3-3 delivers 1000 L/Min from its 6-inch wet end, with a 4-inch motor connection that simplifies integration into existing systems. The microcast stainless steel housing provides structural integrity for continuous submerged operation.
Every wetted component is fabricated from AISI 316 stainless steel, offering excellent resistance to the corrosive effects of groundwater and suspended abrasives. The hydraulic stages incorporate a removable wear ring for maintenance convenience, while the integrated stainless steel non-return valve prevents reverse flow. The suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 grams per cubic metre, protecting internal clearances from premature wear.
Operating on a 415V three-phase supply, the 4 kW motor draws 10.2 Amps and delivers 31 metres of shut-off head. Flow capacity reaches 1000 L/Min through the 80 mm discharge outlet. Hydraulic performance meets EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B tolerances for reliable operation across varying duty points.
Immersion depths up to 300 metres are supported by Class F insulation and IP68 protection. The Duplex stainless steel shaft and AISI 316L tie rods provide mechanical durability. Safety hook attachment points on the discharge head facilitate secure installation and retrieval, while NEMA motor compatibility simplifies assembly.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
