The Lowara 8GS07-1, a 4-inch submersible bore pump, combines stainless steel construction with floating impeller technology to deliver dependable performance in sprinkler irrigation, domestic water supply, and pressure boosting applications. Where groundwater contains suspended particulates, this unit maintains consistent flow without sacrificing efficiency.
Hydraulic output comes from a 0.75 kW single-phase motor operating on a 240 V supply, drawing 5.6 Amps during normal running conditions. Maximum flow reaches 183 L/Min, while maximum head extends to 26.6 metres at shut-off. For effective motor cooling, the surrounding fluid must circulate past the casing at a minimum of 8 cm/s. The motor supports up to 30 evenly distributed starts per hour, making it suitable for systems with varying demand.
Inside the hydraulic section, a floating impeller design permits the passage of suspended sand up to 150 g/m³ without damaging internal clearances. The hexagonal pump shaft ensures reliable torque transfer across the stages, while the front wear ring works with the floating impeller to improve resistance to abrasive wear. A stainless steel non-return valve integrated into the discharge head prevents reverse flow when the pump stops.
Precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower support brackets create a rigid coupling between the pump and motor, maintaining alignment under load. The casing diameter of 99 mm fits standard 4-inch boreholes, with a 50 mm threaded discharge outlet. Rated for continuous submersion in liquids up to 35°C, the complete package includes a control box and heatshrink kit for straightforward electrical terminations during installation.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
