Product Overview
Belonging to the 4-inch e-GS borehole range, the Lowara 8GS30 submersible pump end is a multi-stage hydraulic wet end. This component must be coupled to a compatible 3.0 kW (4.0 HP) motor to become functional. Standard well deployment is vertical, with horizontal mounting also available.
The wet end is built with a stainless steel outer sleeve to protect internal parts. Inside the pump casing, 21 floating impellers made of wear-resistant polymer components are arranged in series. The system allows handling of suspended sand up to 150 grams per cubic meter.
When paired with a 3.0 kW electric motor drawing a rated current of 7.1 Amps (415 V three-phase supply), the coupled wet end reaches a maximum head of 113.2 m. The pump end achieves a maximum flow of 183 L/Min via a 50 mm Rp outlet. Water flow is handled by the multi-stage hydraulics.
The hydraulic wet end is specified for submerged operations in liquid temperatures reaching up to 35°C. Operating depth limits are 150 meters with 4OS motors and up to 300 meters with L4C motors. Horizontal use is permissible with 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Can I install the Lowara 8GS30 horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara 8GS30 run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 183 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara 8GS30?
This is a wet-end assembly and does not include a motor. Pair it with a compatible motor and use the motor/controller manufacturer's recommended overload and dry-run protection.
How much maintenance does the Lowara 8GS30 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
