With high-efficiency hydraulics, the Lowara 8GS55 is an e-GS series borehole pump end, meeting strict ErP regulations. Full service requires coupling this wet end with a compatible 5.5 kW (7.33 HP) electric motor. The mechanical framework allows vertical well configurations or horizontal cisterns.
Constructed for long-term submersion, the pump end features a stainless steel outer sleeve. The internal floating stack contains 38 stages utilizing PC/PPO + PS polymer components. This hydraulic design handles water with suspended sand up to 150 grams per cubic meter.
When matched with a compatible 5.5 kW motor operating on 13.7 Amps current (415 V three-phase line), the coupled assembly yields a maximum head of 214.8 m. The pump end achieves a maximum flow of 183 L/Min discharging through its Rp 2" (50 mm) outlet. Output is verified by factory curves.
Liquid temperature during operation must not exceed 35°C. This pump end is specified for submersion depths up to 150 meters with 4OS motor lines, and up to 300 meters with L4C motor lines. Horizontal use is possible for 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.
