Drawing water from tanks or sources below ground level is straightforward with the Lowara BGM3PT8 self-priming pressure system. This packaged unit combines a centrifugal jet pump with an 8-litre APT pressure vessel, making it suitable for residential rainwater harvesting, tank supply, and garden irrigation installations where the water source is located below the pump level.
The AISI 304 stainless steel pump body delivers a maximum head of approximately 32.5 metres and a maximum flow rate of 47.5 litres per minute. The 0.55 kW motor operates on a 220-240 V single-phase supply with a rated current of 3.33 Amps at 220 V and 3.19 Amps at 240 V. Suction is Rp 32 mm and discharge is Rp 25 mm. The pump handles clean liquids from -10°C to +40°C.
The self-priming design allows the pump to draw water from sources below pump level, subject to the limits specified in the technical documentation. The 8-litre pressure vessel reduces pump cycling during low-demand periods. The mechanical seal is ceramic, carbon, and EPDM. The motor enclosure is IP55 with Class F insulation, and automatic reset thermal overload protection is included.
The unit is supplied with a pre-wired terminal junction box. The pump is certified for drinking water use under WRAS and ACS. Installation requires a level, frost-protected surface with adequate ventilation. The compact footprint suits domestic utility areas where space is limited.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
