Product Overview
Large-scale rainwater harvesting and high-volume water supply with automatic level control are the domain of the Lowara 5SC8/15CG20. This multi-stage submersible pump features an integrated float switch for unattended commercial irrigation and pressure boosting from boreholes, tanks and reservoirs.
Weighing 20.5 kg, the pump handles suspended sand up to 25 g/m³ and passes solids up to 2 mm. A 1.5 kW 240V single-phase motor draws 9.0 Amps and delivers a maximum head of 77 metres and a flow of 120 L/min through a 32 mm outlet.
AISI 304 stainless steel construction with technopolymer impellers and stainless steel diffusers provides corrosion resistance and reliable hydraulic performance. The float switch provides automatic operation based on water level, eliminating the need for external control equipment.
Class F insulation and a double mechanical seal with oil chamber protect the motor, with a silicon carbide external face resisting abrasion. The pump is rated for continuous operation at depths up to 17 metres. A 20 metre cable, capacitor and automatic reset thermal overload protection are included.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
