Product Overview
Supplying water from deep wells, pressure boosting systems and distribution networks, the Lowara Z855-01-3 is an 8-inch submersible electric pump for continuous vertical installation in boreholes and surge tanks. Its single-stage configuration delivers flow rates up to 1333 L/Min with a maximum head of 27.0 metres for agricultural, industrial and municipal water transfer applications.
Built around a 304 stainless steel wet end with a precision-cast delivery head, the semi-axial hydraulic section uses laser-welded stainless steel impellers and diffusers. An AISI 431 stainless steel shaft and technopolymer POM-C wear rings provide mechanical stability, with EPDM bearing bushes supporting the rotating assembly. The pump manages suspended sand content up to 100 g/m³ and water temperatures up to 25°C.
Power comes from a 5.5 kW water-filled L6W motor designed for 415v three-phase supply at 12.7 Amps. NEMA-standard coupling and flange dimensions are incorporated, and the motor is rated for immersion depths up to 350 metres below static water level. A spring-loaded non-return valve in the delivery casing prevents reverse flow and system pressure surges during shutdown.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
