Product Overview
Using a combination of one reduced and one standard impeller, the Lowara Z855-02/1A-3 is an 8-inch submersible electric pump designed for water supply from deep wells, pressure boosting and reservoirs. This 2-stage configuration delivers 1217 L/Min maximum flow and 48.1 m maximum head.
The 304 stainless steel pump end includes a precision-cast delivery head and motor support, while the semi-axial hydraulics combine a reduced and a standard diameter impeller to manage fluid behavior. Technopolymer POM-C wear rings and an AISI 431 shaft provide mechanical stability, with the unit rated for sand content up to 100 g/m³ and water temperatures up to 25°C.
A 7.5 kW water-filled L6W motor operates on a 415v three-phase supply at 17 Amps. NEMA-standard coupling and flange dimensions ensure compatibility, with the motor rated for immersion depths up to 350 metres. A spring-loaded non-return valve prevents backflow.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
