Product Overview
Where high-capacity delivery is required from irrigation systems, mines and surge tanks, the Lowara Z855-02/2A-3 is an 8-inch submersible electric pump featuring two reduced diameter impellers to achieve specific duty points. This 2-stage configuration delivers a maximum flow of 1217 L/Min and a maximum head of 42.9 metres.
The 304 stainless steel pump end includes a precision-cast delivery head and motor support housing, with semi-axial hydraulics using two reduced diameter stainless steel impellers and internal diffusers. An AISI 431 stainless steel shaft and technopolymer wear rings provide mechanical stability, with the unit rated for sand content up to 100 g/m³ and water temperatures up to 25°C. Removable wear rings facilitate maintenance access.
Power is supplied by a 7.5 kW water-filled L6W motor operating on 415v three-phase at 17 Amps. NEMA-standard coupling and flange dimensions are incorporated, with enclosure protection for immersion depths up to 350 metres. A spring-loaded non-return valve in the delivery head eliminates backflow.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
