Product Overview
For water distribution, washing systems and mine applications where enhanced motor protection is required, the Lowara Z855-02/2A-3S combines a 304 stainless steel pump end with a 316 stainless steel motor housing. This 8-inch submersible electric pump uses two reduced diameter impellers to deliver 1217 L/Min flow and 42.9 m maximum head.
Semi-axial hydraulics with stainless steel impellers and diffusers manage fluid movement, while technopolymer POM-C wear rings and an AISI 431 shaft provide mechanical integrity. The 316 stainless steel motor offers superior corrosion resistance in aggressive borehole conditions. The unit handles suspended solids up to 100 g/m³ at temperatures up to 25°C.
A 7.5 kW L6W motor runs on a 415v three-phase supply at 17 Amps, with NEMA-standard coupling and flange dimensions. The motor is rated for immersion depths up to 350 metres, with an integrated non-return valve in the delivery casing to prevent reverse flow. Removable wear rings and a duplex stainless steel shaft coupling aid maintenance.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
