Product Overview
Pressure maintenance infrastructure for municipal and industrial complexes utilizes the Z895-02/2A-3 submersible electric pump. This multistage unit is part of the Z895range and provides robust lifting for pressure boosting and high-volume circulation loops. It allows for vertical installation in deep borehole wells or horizontal mounting in tanks where the motor remains at the lowest position.
Constructed from cast 304 Stainless Steel, the delivery head and suction support provide rigidity for borehole service. The two-stage hydraulic end uses reduced diameter impellers to process cleaner water containing up to 100 g/m³ of suspended sand. The assembly weighs 94.2 kg and is rated for liquids up to a maximum temperature of 25°C.
A 15 kW motor powers the hydraulic assembly on a 415v supply with a rated current of 32.1 Amps. The pump achieves a maximum total head of 45.6 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min while operating at 2900 rpm. These performance values support intensive groundwater distribution and high-capacity fluid optimization in dedicated hydrotherapy systems and large irrigation networks.
Safety features include Class F motor insulation and an IP68 rating for submerged borehole duty. The unit supports immersion depths reaching 350 meters and incorporates double mechanical shaft seals in an oil chamber for fluid containment. Internal POM-C technopolymer wear rings and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex stainless steel shaft assembly and maintain efficiency.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara Z895_02_2A_3?
Motor protection depends on the compatible motor and control equipment selected for the pump. Appropriate overload and dry-run protection should be provided during installation. To prevent dry running, connect it to bore level probes or a controller to turn off automatically if water drops.
How much maintenance does the Lowara Z895-02/2A-3 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
