Product Overview
Belonging to the Lowara Z895 series, the Z895-02/2B-3S is a multistage submersible pump designed for irrigation networks and clean water distribution. This model incorporates a 316 Stainless Steel motor for enhanced resistance in aggressive borehole environments. It is configured for vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment in storage reservoirs with a required inclination.
Primary structural materials feature cast 304 Stainless Steel for the diffusers and suction casing to handle structural loads. The hydraulic end includes two reduced diameter impellers rated to handle liquids with suspended sand content up to 100 g/m³. The total unit weighs 90.2 kg and is specified for liquids reaching a maximum temperature of 25°C.
The 11 kW motor utilizes a 415v supply with a rated current of 24.2 Amps for industrial service. It achieves a maximum total head of 38.4 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min through a semi-axial hydraulic geometry. This configuration provides the necessary head and flow for dedicated groundwater management and large resort surface temperature regulation.
Protection for the motor is ensured by Class F insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for deep borehole duty. The unit supports immersion depths up to 350 meters and features double mechanical shaft seals for fluid containment. Internal technopolymer wear rings and EPDM bearing bushes maintain precise clearances and support the duplex stainless steel shaft assembly during duty cycles.

- The integrated non-return valve features a stainless steel spring to prevent liquid backflow and water hammer.
- EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the pump shaft assembly and handle the mechanical loads during rotation.
- Mechanical connection of the 8-inch motor follows NEMA standards to allow for compatibility with industrial systems.
- A duplex stainless steel taperlock system secures the semi-axial impellers to the shaft for torque transfer.
- Internal technopolymer POM-C wear rings maintain hydraulic clearances and reduce internal friction.
- Stainless steel cable covers provide mechanical protection for the power leads along the pump casing.
Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Can I install the Lowara Z895 02 2B 3S horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara Z895-02-2B-3S run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 1966 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara Z895_02_2B_3S?
Motor protection depends on the compatible motor and control equipment selected for the pump. Appropriate overload and dry-run protection should be provided during installation. To prevent dry running, connect it to bore level probes or a controller to turn off automatically if water drops.
How much maintenance does the Lowara Z895-02/2B-3S need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
