Product Overview
Cooling tower supply and high-volume fluid distribution projects utilize the Z895-03/1A-3 multistage submersible electric pump. Part of the Z895 manufacturer series, this model provides a technical solution for aquifer extraction and pressure maintenance. It allows for vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment in storage reservoirs provided motor immersion is maintained.
Constructed from cast 304 Stainless Steel, the delivery head and diffusers handle the structural stress of intensive lifting. The hydraulic configuration uses three stages with one reduced diameter impeller to process water containing sand up to 100 g/m³. The pump unit weighs 122.4 kg and is rated for operating temperatures reaching a maximum of 25°C.
A 22 kW motor powers the hydraulic assembly on a 415v supply with a rated current of 47.3 Amps. The pump achieves a maximum total head of 76.6 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min at a speed of 2900 rpm. These performance parameters facilitate dedicated water supply management and circulation loops in large industrial complexes and agricultural systems.
Safety containment is provided by Class F motor insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for submerged service. The assembly supports installation depths reaching 350 meters and features double mechanical shaft seals for containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from POM-C and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex stainless steel shaft assembly and maintain hydraulic efficiency.

- Internal technopolymer POM-C wear rings maintain hydraulic clearances and reduce internal friction.
- Stainless steel cable covers provide mechanical protection for the power leads along the pump casing.
Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Can the Lowara Z895 03 1A 3 handle dirty or gritty bore water?
The pump is designed for the documented sand/particle conditions; do not exceed the manufacturer's stated limits. The impellers are built from heavy-duty materials designed to resist abrasion and sediment wear.
Can I run the Lowara Z895-03-1A-3 off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its 22 kW / 415v requirement. It's built for continuous duty on 415V three-phase or standard rural power setups.
Is the Lowara Z895_03_1A_3 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
