Product Overview
Deep well distribution for municipal water systems and large-scale agricultural sectors utilizes the Z895-05-3 multistage submersible pump. Part of the Lowara Z895 manufacturer series, this model provides high-lift potential for groundwater lifting and intensive distribution networks. The unit supports vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment provided the motor remains at the lowest position.
Constructed from cast 304 Stainless Steel, the delivery head and diffusers handle aggregated structural stress in Aggressive environments. The five full-diameter semi-axial flow impellers are designed to handle liquids containing suspended sand concentrations up to 100 g/m³. The pump assembly weighs 168.9 kg and is specified for liquids with temperatures up to 25°C.
A 37 kW motor powers the unit on a 415v supply with a rated current of 81.8 Amps for borehole service. The assembly achieves a maximum total head of 134.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 2300 L/Min through its semi-axial hydraulic configuration. These performance metrics support robust water supply management and circulation loops in industrial complexes and intensive irrigation systems.
Protection features include Class F insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for continuous submerged duty in deep boreholes. The unit allows for installation depths reaching 350 meters and incorporates double mechanical seals housed in an oil chamber for shaft containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from technopolymer POM-C and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex shaft.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara Z895_05_3?
Motor protection depends on the compatible motor and control equipment selected for the pump. Appropriate overload and dry-run protection should be provided during installation. To prevent dry running, connect it to bore level probes or a controller to turn off automatically if water drops.
How much maintenance does the Lowara Z895-05-3 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
How deep can the Lowara Z895-05-3 push water from underground?
