Product Overview
Aquifer distribution for municipal water supply and high-volume irrigation systems utilizes the Z895-05/3A-3 multistage submersible pump. Part of the Z895 range, this unit offers robust lifting for dedicated fluid optimization and pressure maintenance. It allows for vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment in reservoirs provided a minimum inclination ensures motor immersion.
Constructed from cast 304 Stainless Steel, the suction support and diffusers handle aggregated structural loads in deep borehole environments. The hydraulic configuration features five stages with three reduced diameter impellers rated for liquids containing sand up to 100 g/m³. The total assembly weighs 168.9 kg and is rated for operating temperatures up to 25°C.
A 37 kW motor powers the unit on a 415v supply with a rated current of 81.8 Amps for borehole service. The pump achieves a maximum total head of 122.2 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min through a semi-axial flow arrangement. These performance values support intensive groundwater management and consistent lifting for industrial cooling tower supply infrastructure.
Safety containment is provided by Class F motor insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for deep-well duty cycles. The system allows for installation depths reaching 350 meters and features double mechanical shaft seals for containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from technopolymer POM-C and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex stainless steel shaft assembly.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Is the Lowara Z895_05_3A_3 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
