For high-head groundwater extraction and borehole pumping applications, the ZN612/15 provides a fifteen-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch installations. Its 15-stage hydraulic arrangement provides substantial lift while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.
AISI 316 stainless steel forms the pump-end construction, with AISI 316L stainless steel used for the impellers and diffusers. Removable wear rings are incorporated into the hydraulic stages, while the rotating shaft uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The standard L6W motor configuration permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ and limits operating water temperature to 35°C.
The ZN612/15 reaches a maximum head of 170 metres, with hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is discharged through the Rp 2 1/2” (65 mm) threaded connection. A standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling with an L6W submersible motor, with maximum immersion depth of 350 metres using L6W motors.
At the discharge end, the microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head incorporates an integrated stainless steel non-return valve and safety-hook holes. These features form part of the installation arrangement for lowering and securing the pump end in deep boreholes.
