For deep-borehole installations with high lift requirements, the ZN612/21 provides a twenty-one-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible groundwater systems. The increased number of stages provides the hydraulic lift required for deeper installations while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.
Its ZN6 pump-end construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. With an L6W motor, operating water temperature is limited to 35°C and suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.
The ZN612/21 achieves a maximum head of 238 metres and has hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. The standard Rp 2 1/2” (65 mm) threaded delivery connection provides the outlet. A standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection allows coupling with an L6W submersible motor, with maximum immersion depth of 350 metres using L6W motors.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are provided in the discharge head to assist with lowering and securing the pump end during borehole installation.
