Product Overview
Extreme deep-well extraction for municipal water supply is the domain of the Lowara ZN612/28-3, a 13 kW radial flow pump delivering 318.6 metres of shut-off head. Its 6-inch AISI 316 stainless steel wet end and 142 mm diameter fit standard boreholes while providing exceptional corrosion resistance for the most demanding applications.
The 415V three-phase motor draws 28.1 Amps and generates 275 L/Min maximum flow. Performance complies with EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B tolerances. The 65 mm discharge port accommodates standard pipework, while the integrated non-return valve prevents backflow when the motor stops.
AISI 316 stainless steel throughout the wetted end provides corrosion resistance against aggressive groundwater. The suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 g/m³, and the radial flow impeller includes a removable wear ring. A replaceable coupling allows maintenance without full pump extraction.
At 99 kg, the pump features microcast stainless steel head and motor support components. Safety hook holes on the delivery port secure the unit during installation. Maximum liquid temperature is 35°C, and the pump accepts L6W motor configurations.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
