Product Overview
Large-scale irrigation and groundwater supply operations depend on the Lowara ZN612/8-3, a 4 kW radial flow pump delivering 90.7 metres of head from a 6-inch AISI 316 stainless steel wet end. Its 142 mm outer diameter fits standard boreholes, and the robust construction handles continuous operation in demanding agricultural and industrial applications.
The 415V three-phase motor draws 9.89 Amps and achieves 275 L/Min maximum flow. Performance complies with EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B standards. The 65 mm discharge port connects to standard pipework, and the integrated non-return valve prevents backflow when the motor stops.
AISI 316 stainless steel throughout the wetted end provides corrosion resistance against aggressive groundwater, while the suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 g/m³. The radial flow impeller features a removable wear ring, and the replaceable coupling simplifies maintenance without pump removal.
Weighing 57 kg, the pump includes microcast stainless steel head and motor support castings. Safety hook holes on the discharge head facilitate secure lowering. Liquid temperature tolerance is 35°C, and the unit accepts L6W motor configurations.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
