Product Overview
For groundwater extraction, agricultural irrigation and high-volume water supply, the ZN612/8 provides an eight-stage radial flow pump end for six-inch submersible borehole installations. Its radial hydraulic arrangement provides the required lift while maintaining a maximum flow of 275 L/Min.
Its ZN6 construction uses AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803, while the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted, while the standard L6W motor limits operating water temperature to 35°C.
The ZN612/8 achieves a maximum head of 90 metres, with hydraulic performance specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is discharged through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection. A standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection permits coupling with an L6W submersible motor, with maximum immersion depth of 350 metres when used with L6W motors.
The discharge head is manufactured in microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) material and includes an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes are incorporated into the discharge head to assist with lowering and securing the pump end during deep-well installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Is the Lowara ZN612_8 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
What pipe size connects to the Lowara ZN612/8 discharge port?
It fits a standard 65 mm outlet connection. Using the right pipe diameter ensures you get the full 275 L/Min discharge flow.
Can I install the Lowara ZN612 8 horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara ZN612-8 run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 275 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
