Product Overview
For water supply requiring substantial lift from a six-inch borehole, the ZN616/13 provides a thirteen-stage radial flow wet end with a maximum head of 160 metres. Its 367 L/Min maximum flow provides high-capacity hydraulic performance for demanding water-supply installations.
The ZN6 pump end is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel. AISI 316L stainless steel is used for the impellers and diffusers, with removable wear rings allowing hydraulic clearances to be serviced. The rotating shaft is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling is Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.
The standard L6W motor configuration supports water temperatures up to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Discharge is through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, with a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion depth of 350 metres.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes provide attachment points during lowering and installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara ZN616-13 run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 367 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara ZN616_13?
This is a wet-end assembly and does not include a motor. Pair it with a compatible motor and use the motor/controller manufacturer's recommended overload and dry-run protection.
How much maintenance does the Lowara ZN616/13 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
How deep can the Lowara ZN616/13 push water from underground?
With a maximum head of 160 m, it easily lifts water from deep bore shafts and pushes it across long pipe runs without losing pressure.
