Product Overview
The twenty-one-stage ZN616/21 is designed for waterworks distribution where high hydraulic lift is required from a six-inch borehole pump end. It reaches a maximum head of 257 metres while maintaining the 367 L/Min maximum flow.
The pump end is constructed in AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers incorporating removable wear rings. A Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 shaft supports the rotating assembly, and the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. The construction permits suspended sand up to 100 g/m³.
With an L6W motor, operating water temperature is limited to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Water is discharged through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, with a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion of 350 metres.
The microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate an integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes assist with controlled lowering and securing during borehole installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Can I install the Lowara ZN616 21 horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara ZN616-21 run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 367 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara ZN616_21?
This is a wet-end assembly and does not include a motor. Pair it with a compatible motor and use the motor/controller manufacturer's recommended overload and dry-run protection.
How much maintenance does the Lowara ZN616/21 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
