Product Overview
For groundwater lowering at substantial depth, the ZN616/26 provides a twenty-six-stage radial flow pump end with a maximum head of 319 metres. The six-inch configuration retains a maximum flow of 367 L/Min for high-capacity borehole applications.
The ZN6 wet end is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel, with AISI 316L stainless steel impellers and diffusers fitted with removable wear rings. The rotating shaft uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 31803 and the replaceable coupling uses Duplex stainless steel UNS S 32304. Suspended sand up to 100 g/m³ is permitted.
The standard L6W motor configuration limits operating water temperature to 35°C. Hydraulic performance is specified to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B. Discharge is through the Rp 2 1/2– (65 mm) threaded connection, with a standard 6-inch NEMA motor connection and maximum immersion depth of 350 metres.
A microcast ASTM CF-8M (AISI 316 cast) discharge head and lower support incorporate the integrated stainless steel non-return valve. Safety-hook holes provide attachment points for installation and controlled lowering.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Can I run the Lowara ZN616-26 off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its Continuous-Duty Electric Motor requirement. It's built for continuous duty on 415V three-phase or standard rural power setups.
Is the Lowara ZN616_26 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
What pipe size connects to the Lowara ZN616/26 discharge port?
It fits a standard 65 mm outlet connection. Using the right pipe diameter ensures you get the full 367 L/Min discharge flow.
Can I install the Lowara ZN616 26 horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.
