Product Overview
Industrial water transfer and groundwater lowering projects require pumps that sustain high heads under continuous operation. The Lowara ZN646/18-3N features a 6-inch wet end with 6-inch motor and NEMA coupling, delivering 1000 L/Min at 183.2 metres of shut-off head for demanding applications. The multi-stage hydraulic assembly ensures stable performance across varying duty cycles.
Corrosion resistance is achieved through AISI 316 stainless steel construction across all wetted components, protecting against aggressive groundwater and abrasive wear. The impeller and diffuser arrangement includes a removable wear ring for maintenance convenience, while the integrated non-return valve prevents water column reversal. The suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 grams per cubic metre, protecting internal clearances.
Powered by a 26 kW three-phase motor at 415V, the pump draws 56.5 Amps and achieves 183.2 metres of shut-off head. Flow capacity is 1000 L/Min through the 80 mm discharge outlet. Performance testing to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B ensures reliable operation across the full duty range.
Submersion depths up to 350 metres are supported by Class F insulation and IP68 protection. The Duplex stainless steel shaft provides mechanical strength for continuous operation, while AISI 316L tie rods offer additional structural support. NEMA motor compatibility simplifies assembly, and safety hook holes facilitate installation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
