Hydraulic design principles based on eight full-diameter stages characterize this 8-inch submersible unit for industrial lifting. It serves as a solution for intensive water distribution in agricultural and industrial sectors needing high-volume delivery from aquifers. The assembly is compatible with vertical deep-well installation and horizontal mounting provided a minimum inclination is maintained. This model serves as a dedicated tool for sectors requiring reliable head and large flow capacities from deep reservoirs.
The unit achieves performance characteristics including a maximum head of 215.6 m and a delivery capacity scaling up to 1333 L/Min. Powered by a 37 kW motor on a 415v three-phase supply, the unit draws a rated current of 81.8 Amps during continuous duty. The semi-axial flow design achieves nominal flow rates of 55 m³/hr for efficient movement across the assembly at 2900 rpm. Performance parameters are calculated for clean water with standard density characteristics.
Component construction employs cast AISI 316 Stainless Steel for wetted hydraulic parts including the delivery head, suction casing, and diffusers. The motor is also made of 316 Stainless Steel and is rated for contact with liquids up to 25°C during continuous service. The assembly processes water containing suspended sand levels of 100 g/m³ through its eight-stage hydraulic configuration. A duplex stainless steel shaft is used to transmit power to the hydraulic end during rotation.
This electric pump supports immersion depths of 350 meters and features a non-return valve built into the head to prevent backflow during shutdown. Physical dimensions include a 198 mm maximum overall diameter, fitting within standard 8-inch well casings including motor cable covers. Internal wear surfaces are managed by technopolymer POM-C wear rings and EPDM 70 bearing bushes to ensure mechanical alignment and efficiency. The unit is designed for municipal water systems.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
