Corrosive groundwater applications in municipal water distribution and irrigation require pumps with AISI 316 stainless steel throughout. The Lowara ZN875-02/2A-3S features AISI 316 wet end and motor construction, delivering 1700 L/Min with 40.1 metres of head. Its semi-axial impeller arrangement provides efficient performance for aggressive water conditions.
The entire wet end is constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. The motor is also manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel. A built-in stainless steel non-return valve with spring closure prevents backflow when the motor stops. EPDM guide bearings and technopolymer POM-C wear rings help reduce friction. The suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 grams per cubic metre.
The 415V three-phase motor draws 17 Amps. Flow capacity is 1700 L/Min through the 125 mm discharge outlet. Performance tolerances comply with EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B.
NEMA-standard coupling dimensions simplify installation. Maximum immersion depth is 350 metres. Horizontal mounting is supported with a 3-degree minimum inclination. Class F insulation with IP68 rating protects the motor winding.
