Corrosive water supply for firefighting systems and surge tanks requires pumps with AISI 316 stainless steel throughout. The Lowara ZN875-02-3S features AISI 316 wet end and motor construction, achieving 1833 L/Min and 52.9 metres of head with an 11 kW motor. Its semi-axial flow design handles the demands of intermittent high-flow operation in aggressive environments.
The entire wet end is constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. The motor is also manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel. A built-in stainless steel non-return valve with spring mechanism prevents reverse flow when the motor stops. EPDM guide bearings and technopolymer wear rings help reduce friction. The suction strainer limits sand ingress to 100 grams per cubic metre.
Driven by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 24.2 Amps, the pump delivers 52.9 metres of shut-off head. Flow capacity reaches 1833.3 L/Min through the 125 mm discharge port. Performance testing to EN ISO 9906 Grade 3B helps confirm reliable operation.
NEMA coupling and flange dimensions simplify assembly. Maximum immersion depth is 350 metres. Horizontal installation is supported with a 3-degree minimum inclination. Class F insulation with IP68 rating provides motor protection.
ZN = 8" wet end with 8" Lowara motor (AISI 316 construction)
