Product Overview
Deep borehole supply for municipal networks and industrial projects is facilitate by the ZN895-02/2A-3R multistage submersible unit. This model features a Duplex Stainless Steel motor configuration and belongs to the Lowara ZN895 range. It allows for vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment in pressure tanks provided motor immersion is maintained to ensure lubrication.
Manufactured from cast 316 Stainless Steel, the suction support and diffusers handle Aggressive structural stress during operation. The two-stage configuration uses reduced diameter impellers designed to process liquids containing suspended sand up to 100 g/m³. The total pump unit weighs 94.2 kg and operates in liquids reaching a maximum temperature of 25°C.
The 15 kW motor utilizes a 415v supply with a rated current of 32.1 Amps for borehole duty. It achieves a maximum total head of 45.6 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min at a speed of 2900 rpm. These capacities enable dedicated fluid optimization for municipal water supply systems and high-capacity fluid optimization in dedicated hydrotherapy distribution.
Safety containment is provided by Class F motor insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for deep borehole duty cycles. The assembly supports immersion depths up to 350 meters and features double mechanical shaft seals for fluid containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from POM-C and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex shaft assembly and maintain hydraulic clearances.

- EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the pump shaft assembly and handle the mechanical loads during rotation.
- Internal technopolymer POM-C wear rings maintain hydraulic clearances and reduce internal friction.
- Stainless steel cable covers provide mechanical protection for the power leads along the pump casing.
Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Is the Lowara ZN895_02_2A_3R safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
