Product Overview
Livestock management for industrial farms and municipal distribution networks utilize the ZN895-02-3R multistage submersible unit for aquifer extraction. This model features a Duplex Stainless Steel motor configuration and belongs to the ZN895 range. It allows for vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment provided motor immersion is maintained at all times.
Manufactured from cast 316 Stainless Steel, the diffusers and suction casing provide structural integrity for Aggressive borehole duty. The two full-diameter semi-axial impellers are rated for water containing suspended sand content up to 100 g/m³. The pump assembly weighs 102.2 kg and operates in liquids reaching a maximum temperature of 25°C.
The 15 kW motor utilizes a 415v supply with a rated current of 32.1 Amps for borehole duty cycles. It achieves a maximum total head of 53.8 m and a maximum flow rate of 2300 L/Min while operating at 2900 rpm. These specifications support intensive clean water lifting and pressure maintenance infrastructure in dedicated irrigation and residential water networks.
Safety containment features Class F insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for deep borehole duty. The unit supports immersion depths reaching 350 meters and incorporates double mechanical shaft seals for containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from technopolymer POM-C and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex stainless steel shaft and maintain clearances.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara ZN895_02_3R?
Motor protection depends on the compatible motor and control equipment selected for the pump. Appropriate overload and dry-run protection should be provided during installation. To prevent dry running, connect it to bore level probes or a controller to turn off automatically if water drops.
How much maintenance does the Lowara ZN895-02-3R need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
