Product Overview
Municipal extraction for water distribution systems utilize the ZN895-03/2B-3S multistage submersible pump for high-capacity fluid distribution. Specified for the ZN895series range, this model provides high-volume extraction for borehole duty and fluid optimization. It is suitable for vertical installation in borehole wells or horizontal deployment where motor immersion is ensured.
Constructed from cast 316 Stainless Steel, the delivery head and diffusers provide rigidity for intensive service life. The three-stage hydraulic end includes two reduced diameter impellers rated to handle clean water containing sand up to 100 g/m³. The total electric pump weight is 119.4 kg and the unit is rated for operating temperatures up to 25°C.
An 18.5 kW motor powers the unit on a 415v supply with a rated current of 38.5 Amps for industrial service. It achieves a maximum total head of 64.8 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min through a semi-axial hydraulic arrangement. These capacities enable robust groundwater management and consistent lifting for municipal and intensive agricultural irrigation systems.
Thermal protection includes Class F motor insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for submerged service in borehole wells. The assembly supports installation depths up to 350 meters and features double mechanical seals for shaft containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from technopolymer POM-C and EPDM bearing bushes support the duplex shaft assembly and maintain hydraulic efficiency.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

How deep can the Lowara ZN895-03/2B-3S push water from underground?
With a maximum head of 64.8 m, it easily lifts water from deep bore shafts and pushes it across long pipe runs without losing pressure.
Can the Lowara ZN895 03 2B 3S handle dirty or gritty bore water?
The pump is designed for the documented sand/particle conditions; do not exceed the manufacturer's stated limits. The impellers are built from heavy-duty materials designed to resist abrasion and sediment wear.
Can I run the Lowara ZN895-03-2B-3S off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its 18.5 kW / 415v requirement. It's built for continuous duty on 415V three-phase or standard rural power setups.
