Product Overview
Deep well pumping for municipal distribution and consistent fluid optimization utilize the ZN895-04/2A-3S multistage submersible electric pump. Part of the ZN895 series, this model features a 316 Stainless Steel motor configuration and provides high-volume lifting. It supports vertical installation in wells or horizontal mounting in tanks where the motor remains at the lowest position.
Constructed from cast 316 Stainless Steel, the delivery head and suction support provide rigidity for borehole service life. The hydraulic configuration uses four stages with two reduced diameter impellers to process water containing suspended sand content reaching 100 g/m³. The assembly weighs 143.6 kg and is specified for liquids at a maximum temperature of 25°C.
A 30 kW motor powers the unit on a 415v supply with a rated current of 63.8 Amps for industrial borehole duty. It achieves a maximum total head of 99.4 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min through a semi-axial hydraulic configuration. These performance metrics enable robust lifting from deep underground aquifers to support intensive irrigation networks and residential water networks.
Protection features include Class F insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for submerged service in deep borehole environments. The system allows for installation depths reaching 350 meters and features double mechanical seals housed in an oil chamber for containment. Internal POM-C technopolymer wear rings and EPDM bearing bushes support the duplex shaft assembly and maintain hydraulic efficiency.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara ZN895_04_2A_3S?
Motor protection depends on the compatible motor and control equipment selected for the pump. Appropriate overload and dry-run protection should be provided during installation. To prevent dry running, connect it to bore level probes or a controller to turn off automatically if water drops.
How much maintenance does the Lowara ZN895-04/2A-3S need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
