The pump unit weighs 140.6 kg and is specified for clean water temperatures reaching 25°C.
Performance metrics are driven by a 30 kW motor operating on a 415v supply with a rated current of 63.8 Amps for borehole service. The assembly achieves a maximum total head of 92.1 m and a maximum flow rate of 1966.7 L/Min through its semi-axial hydraulic geometry. These capacities Facilitate robust groundwater lifting from underground aquifers to support surface distribution and irrigation sectors.
Safety containment is provided by Class F motor insulation and an IP68 rating for deep borehole duty. The unit supports immersion depths up to 350 meters and incorporates double mechanical shaft seals for containment. Internal wear rings manufactured from POM-C and EPDM 70 bearing bushes support the duplex stainless steel shaft and maintain precise clearances during operation.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Can I install the Lowara ZN895 04 2B 3R horizontally inside a water tank?
Horizontal installation may be permitted where the manufacturer's installation requirements are met, including the required inclination and adequate motor cooling.

What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara ZN895_04_2B_3R?
Motor protection depends on the compatible motor and control equipment selected for the pump. Appropriate overload and dry-run protection should be provided during installation. To prevent dry running, connect it to bore level probes or a controller to turn off automatically if water drops.
