Product Overview

This specific model features a 316 Stainless Steel motor configuration and belongs to the ZN895 series, offering high-volume extraction. It is designed for vertical borehole installation or horizontal mounting in pressure tanks where motor immersion is ensured.
Constructed from cast 316 Stainless Steel, the delivery head and diffusers handle the aggregated structural loads of deep-well duty. The internal hydraulic end features five stages with semi-axial flow impellers rated for liquids containing sand content reaching 100 g/m³. The unit weighs 168.9 kg and is rated for operating temperatures up to 25°C.
Performance is driven by a 37 kW motor operating on a 415v supply with a rated current of 81.8 Amps for borehole service. The pump achieves a maximum total head of 134.5 m and a maximum flow rate of 2300 L/Min through its semi-axial hydraulic arrangement. These performance metrics enable robust lifting from deep aquifers to support intensive irrigation sectors and residential water networks.
Protection features include Class F insulation and an IP68 enclosure rating for submerged service in borehole environments. The assembly supports installation depths up to 350 meters and features double mechanical shaft seals for containment. Internal POM-C technopolymer wear rings and EPDM bearing bushes provide precisely maintained clearances and support the duplex shaft assembly.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

Can the Lowara ZN895 05 3S handle dirty or gritty bore water?
The pump is designed for the documented sand/particle conditions; do not exceed the manufacturer's stated limits. The impellers are built from heavy-duty materials designed to resist abrasion and sediment wear.
Can I run the Lowara ZN895/05/3S off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its 37 kW / 415v requirement. It's built for continuous duty on 415V three-phase or standard rural power setups.
Is the Lowara ZN895_05_3S safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
