The Onga BM2-55H Blazemaster 2 is a twin stage petrol engine-driven firefighting pump designed for emergency response, long-distance water transfer, irrigation, and tank filling applications. Its twin impeller configuration is engineered to deliver higher head performance, making it suitable for pumping over extended distances and elevated terrains.
Constructed using marine-grade aluminium across the pump casing, twin impellers, diffuser, and discharge components, the BM2-55H provides excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and portability. The advanced hydraulic design improves pressure generation while maintaining stable flow characteristics. Internal components include a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal and NBR O-rings, ensuring reliable sealing and durability under demanding operating conditions.
Based on the performance curve for the BM2-55H twin stage model, the pump achieves a maximum head of approximately 89 metres at shut-off and delivers a maximum flow of approximately 450 L/min at low head conditions. It also supports a maximum suction lift of 8 metres, enabling efficient water draw from tanks, dams, and open water sources.
The unit is powered by a Honda GX160 5.5 HP 4-stroke petrol engine operating at 3000 RPM, delivering reliable and fuel-efficient performance. It features a 3.1-litre fuel tank and uses 10W/30 API SG oil, making it suitable for continuous duty operation in field and emergency conditions.
