    Pairs well with

Rural water supply and automatic high-pressure distribution are the core applications for this specialised jet-driven pressure pump. It combines the self-priming jet pump with the SW66 injector, a high-head injector configuration designed for applications where discharge pressure takes priority over maximum flow, and the ECL22 electronic controller to create a complete self-managing pressure system.

The unit features a 1.5 kW single-phase 240V motor with a rated current draw of 9.7 Amps. Hydraulic performance is defined by a maximum head of up to 69 m and delivers a maximum flow rate of up to 67 L/Min. The CJ range is available with the EC22, ECS and ECL22 electric controllers. This specific model is factory supplied with the ECL22 controller, featuring a 22 m cut-in setting and a larger 1¼ inch connection to reduce flow restriction.

The SW66 injector works with the jet and venturi system to increase discharge pressure. The 1¼ inch ECL22 controller provides significantly less flow restriction compared to the 1-inch EC22 or adjustable ECS switches, ensuring that the high-pressure output of the SW66 injector is not throttled at the discharge point.

Mechanical longevity is supported by a solid cast iron casing and a unique double race bearing system that shares the motor load across dual bearing rows. The electronic switch is designed to be tolerant of the voltage spikes and brownouts common in remote areas. The entire assembly handles liquid temperatures up to 65°C and is backed by a 2-year Orange Pumps warranty.

    FEATURES

    • ECL22 1¼ inch controller ensures minimal restriction to water flow for maximum discharge pressure and efficiency.
    • Automatic operation transforms the self-priming jet pump into a self-managing site pressure system for irrigation and troughs.
    • Sophisticated loss-of-prime protection automatically shuts down the 1.5 kW motor to prevent damage if suction is lost.
    • Integrated 24-hour restart capability maintains site water availability by automatically repriming the pump after a supply break.
    • Heavy-duty double race bearing technology manages axial loads effectively to extend the operational life of the motor.
    • Solid cast iron pump body provides enhanced structural integrity and protection against environmental rust in the field.
    • Advanced venturi and jet design facilitates reliable self-priming by ensuring air is purged from long suction lines upon startup.
    • TEFC motor housing and stainless steel shaft construction provide robust defences against dust, moisture, and vermin ingress.
