Product Overview
Precision fluid velocity routing defines the Pedrollo MC30/70-F MC Submersible Channel Pump, Guide Rail as a capable asset for municipal infrastructure. The layout accelerates raw sewage and suspended solids, stabilizing circulation within extraction networks. This unit is designed to assist in bypassing mechanical clogging risks in intensive processing.
Providing torque is a 2.2 kW three-phase motor pulling 5.9 Amps across a 415v grid. Supported by a 10-metre power cable, the assembly sustains operation in liquids up to 40 degrees Celsius. Achieving a 1500 L/min flow rate and a 12 m head limit, the system is suitable for guide rail installations using an automatic coupling arrangement.
To maintain integrity against underground corrosion, the main housing is forged from heavy-gauge cast iron with a protective cataphoresis treatment. This metal shell isolates mechanical tolerances from abrasive sludge. Weighing 42.2 kg, the dense chassis provides necessary anchoring force to mitigate vibrations during high-flow startup cycles.
Managing wastewater volumes, the internal matrix relies on a DOUBLE-CHANNEL impeller manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. This mechanism accelerates liquid through an 80 mm discharge port, clearing short fibers. The drive shaft is protected by a double mechanical seal separated by an oil chamber, supporting long-term underground deployment.

What is the maximum head stated for this wastewater pump?
The pump has a maximum head of 12 m, while the MC30 70-F is intended for municipal sewage and wastewater extraction applications.
What installation arrangement helps simplify maintenance?
The guide-rail installation uses an automatic coupling arrangement, allowing the MC30/70-F to be accessed for servicing without entering the wet well.
Which liquids and solids is the pump designed to handle?
It is designed for raw sewage, abrasive sludge and suspended solids, with passage up to 70 mm through the MC30_70-F hydraulic system.
What materials are used in the pump housing and impeller?
A cataphoresis-treated cast iron housing helps resist corrosion from abrasive sludge, protecting the MC30_70-F during demanding municipal wastewater extraction service.
What are the motor rating and electrical requirements?
The 2.2 kW three-phase motor draws 5.9 A at 415 V, and the MC30 70-F description also identifies a 10-metre power cable.
